Chardonnay.

Brilliant medium straw colour, this wine is a fresh, clean fruit driven style with aromatic tropical fruit and fresh citrus fruit characters. The palate is full flavoured with a burst of lifted peach, pineapple and refreshing citrus fruit. A soft and subtle palate, with well integrated buttery flavours of peach, melon and pear. This wine is for immediate enjoyment.

Winemakers Comments

Chardonnay was harvested at night to ensure the fresh fruit characters were maximised in the resulting wine. The wine was produced with as little interference as possible such that Banrock Station's motto "From the good earth, fine wine", is truly reflected in every bottle of wine produced.

This wine is well suited to a range of full flavoured dishes, such as seafood, pasta, chicken and veal.
