For years Banrock Station has been developing and trialing alternate varieties, including those originally from the Mediterranean. The Montepulciano, made using non-interventional techniques, is one of our winemaker’s personal favourites and Paul is continually experimenting with new varietals to highlight the Riverland’s capacity for premium wine production.
