Australia
Across Australia, the following environmental projects are underway or have been completed since Banrock Station’s sponsorship program began in 1994. Some projects are focused on specific endangered species while others conserve and restore the natural landscape for the benefit of multiple species of plants and animals. Significant funding has been directed to conserving Australia’s wetlands and waterways, which is especially crucial in a country where every drop of water is precious.
