Paul Kassebaum.
Group Regional Winemaker.
Paul is responsible for managing the Hardy Wine Company's wine production for the Riverland and Sunraysia areas. Based at the Berri Estates winery, (the largest single winery in the Southern Hemisphere), Paul oversees the development of many key export brands such as Stamp of Australia, Hardys Nottage Hill, and of course, Banrock Station.
In this role he oversees an annual vintage crush of more than 200,000 tonnes of grapes, is responsible for about 200 employees, and the first in charge of the Berri expansion program which saw the winery expand a further 50 percent to meet the demands of the booming export market.
Paul now oversees all blending and winemaking for the highly successful range of Banrock Station wines and his desire is to lift the quality of all wines produced from the Riverland area. He believes the Riverland is an ideal region for producing flavoursome, value for money wines that deliver on consistency and quality year on year.
